5 Top Notch Movies to Look Forward to when the Cinemas Reopens June 2020

With a Backlog of top notch movies to be released in the cinemas soon, it is going to be a great time to get back to a night out at the cinema.

Cinema is now beginning to open up again. Film Productions are on the move again in June 2020 and shooting on sets will is already starting. Our film Course Productions are shifting back into gear in June as well with the startup of our next 4 Month Film Courses.

As there are some big blockbusters coming soon, I thought it would be fun to highlight five here.
It is now time to anticipate and look forward to the Cinema Smash Films in the near future.

Top Gun Maverick

Tom Cruise is back in the film that made him into a mega-star back in the mid 80s.
After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.

Directed by  Joseph Kosinski

2  Tenent – Director Christopher Nolan.

From the Director of Batman and Inception and  Insterstellar, Nolan rarely disappoints.  At the center of Tenet is a mystery concerning time, and the backward and forward manipulation of it, a seemingly symmetrical element that’s reflected in the palindrome title Tenet

3  James Bond —
No Time to Die  The official website is 007.com. James Bond is always so much fun with action galore. Bond has left active service and enjoying a tranquil life in Jamacia. His peace is short lived when his old friend Felix from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission is to rescue a kidnapped scientist which leads to mayhem and a mysterious villain armed with dangerous technology

4  Wonder Woman  1984  –
The sequel is here and will be released in the very near future in the Cinema. I very much loved the first film, directed by Patty Jenkins. If you loved the first one like me, expect another smash hit extravaganza.

5 Mulan

Following Disney’s live-action remake trend comes Mulan, directed by Niki Caro of Whale Rider and North Country fame. Featuring Chinese star Liu Yifei as the titular character and a host of other Chinese legends like Donnie Yen, Gong Li, and Jet Li, this one is poised to conquer the global box office and – if it taps into the animated original’s magic – our hearts.

There we have it. Five Smash Movies to look forward to over the next few months as life returns to semi-normal or the new normal as many have called it.

Cinemas will have social distancing in place as well as  for people working on film sets. That will include our film shoots on our 4 Month Filmmaking Courses

As it is now time to get out and about,  going to see a blockbuster at the cinema will be one of the great pleasures we have not had since early March.
